FM20 Glory Hunter: Episode 29 – Barcelona – Football Manager 2020

This is a brand new series for Football Manager 2020 where we’re aiming to replace Sir Alex Ferguson as the greatest manager of all time! Starting out with Ajax, we’re going to aim to win as many trophies as we can in Europe, going through different leagues on the way to become the undisputed best manager in FM20.

We’ve now moved on to Barcelona after a successful three years with Ajax where we picked up three league titles, two Dutch Cups and the Champions League on the back of a 15 months unbeaten run in all competitions!

I picked Ajax as my FM2020 starting team so that we can make sure we don’t end up winning the Champions League too early, or become convinced to stay at on FM20 club for too long. Starting at Ajax also makes it harder to get other really big jobs like Real Madrid or Barcelona straight away, meaning I might need to go to Portugal and other less reputable leagues as we go forward.

For those who are new to the channel, I am Jenkaldo and I create Football Manager 2020 content, with a main focus on FM20 Experiments.

There will be tactics videos and scouting videos, with more to come in the days after! Let me know if there’s anything else that you’d like to see and we can incorporate it into the upcoming FM20 videos.

In today’s video we kick off the new season, go through some basics and play our first game of the season. Because of limited recording time, we do have to rush through this, so don’t expect many transfers or time spent perfecting tactics!

Through the next few episodes we’ll see the save out and see if we can win the Premier League! It’s going to be a hard season but with a few key signings, there’s nothing we can’t do!

If there’s anything else that you want to see in FM20, then please let me know using the comments. Don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to the channel!

In Spain the first team numbers can only go up to 25, with 1 and 13 reserved for goalkeepers. And Henrique came from Gremio 🙂

(I have not watched the video yet) I have to admit, I am quite disappointed that you joined such a massive club. I think it would have been really fun if you only picked second-zone clubs and build them up to European silverware. In Spain, it would have been great if you had joined Sociedad or Betis, for instance.Of course, it's your own series and game, but I think the challenge would have been better with less big clubs.
